Over IP Group has innovative and highly flexible cooling system for high density server racks. With a 20Kw Water Cooled Door the system itself can be only the cooling module (to be installed on an existing rack; e.g. retrofitting) or a complete solution of rack, cooling unit and accessories.
Close LoopA full recirculation of the rack cabinet air and the heat generated from the servers is transferred to the thermal medium |
|
Open LoopRhe ambient air is sucked by the rack, is warmed up by the servers, then the heat is transferred to the thermal medium and the same air leaves the rack at the same ambient temperature |
To improve the air flow in the close loop versions there air 2 lateral air baffles (inside the rack) which guarantee the right air direction – cold air in the front of the rack – and avoid the air short circuits. The cable management is quite important to assure the right balance between cable connections and air distribution. Ask one of our technical staff how you can overcome this. | |
If your building doesn't have a return air water suitable (around 12oC) where the the heat load is transferred to the water. The water can be sourced from an indoor chiller connected to an external dry cooler. Or the water can be sourced from an outdoor chiller connected to an intermediate exchanger like a Pump & Transfer unit. |

Water Cooled Server Rack technology can be deployed where NO "Raised Floor" exists. With the advanced flexible hydraulic pipes with a quick connect terminal, the system can be easily deployed with next to none maintenance necessary.
In a traditional computer room raised floor, this technology is ideal for high density blade server or telecommunications equipment. Due to the high density architecture, you can save on floor space, power and cooling as the system transfers the heat outside of the building by means of water.
