Cold Aisle Containment

“How to I get more efficient cooling and power from my Existing Infrastructure?”
Over IP Group’s Thermal Containment (TCT) addresses concerns of “Existing” & “New” IT Infrastructure requirements. The design allows you to “Retro-Fit” to your existing cabinet infrastructure with “No Downtime” necessary.

  • Save energy from 15% - 67%

  • Maximise airflow dynamics

  • Modular Design

  • Vendor Neutral retrofittable

  • Allows for multiple height cabinets

  • Separate Cold Aisle to Hot Aisle flow

  • Suitable for High Density Blade Servers

  • High Security & Real Time Monitoring

By deploying an OCAC Solution, it can help you save cost in:

  • •    Reducing Floor Space
    •    Increase the density within each rack
    •    Reducing Power Consumption
    •    Reducing equipment purchasing
    •    Equipment can last longer

Whether you are planning:

  • •    A upgrade of your existing infrastructure
    •    A new computer room
    •    Moving to a Data Centre

By deploying the OCAC to your existing infrastructure, you can:

  • •    Cut CRAC unit consumption
  • •    Increase Air Flow Efficiency
  • •    Cut Power Consumption
  • •    Have Equipment running more efficiently
  • •    Get Early warning Alerts with real time monitoring
  • •    Have Automated Reporting to keep you up to date

Slash Energy Costs with Better Air Flow Dynamics

  1. Save energy! Data Centre curtains, partitions and Cold Aisle Containment
  2. Save energy on air conditioning by as much as 15% and up to 67% on fans
  3. Protect your mission critical operations
  4. Maximize airflow dynamics and increase the effectiveness of your hot aisle/cold aisle isolation
  5. Modular partitions, ceilings, strip doors and mountings offers solutions for any data centre configuration
  6. Specially formulated vinyl and non-vinyl materials include Polysim 509, a low outgassing, static-dissipative polyurethane that meets ASTM and NFPA fire retardancy requirements
  7. Hardware is designed so that curtains fall away in the case of a fire, allowing sprinklers full operating range
  8. Check with your regional electrical utility about energysaving rebates that can help offset the cost of your system

Data Centre Hard Wall Enclosures

Hard Wall enclosures offer another energy-saving solution for separating cold air aisles.

Hard Walls are an excellent solution for high traffic data centre’s.

They are used for high security in caged environments where frequently visited by co-location customers or VIP personnel.

Curtains in the Data Centre

Data Centre Curtains, and all materials, are made from virgin materials to provide extra clear transparency and protection against yellowing and cracking.

Easy Mounting and Assembly

We offer a patented mounting system, including this t-bar ceiling clip that attaches easily and quickly to your existing ceiling grid with no need for drilling.
Other options include bifolding curtains and standard swing and sliding door systems.

Where have you seen this Technology

The technology has been around since 1979, leading innovations in isolation technology and airflow dynamics. Clients include NASA, Boeing and recognisable firms in medical equipment manufacturing, aerospace, electronics assembly, automotive manufacturing and other industries. The  line of curtains and partitions can be found in major data centre’s throughout the world.
