CREMS (Computer Environmental Monitoring Systems)

The purpose of a CREMS is to prevent downtime in an IT environment where your infrastucture like UPS, CRAC Units, PDUs, Cameras, Security, Generators, Batteries, etc. may malfunction. CREMS centralises the alerting and reporting of infrastucture devices under one interface to ensure that they can work together and action simultaneous actions as a total package. It gives additional SNMP, monitoring, reporting and threshold abilities to devices that are generally limited.

Working on a "Normally Open" & "Normally Closed" circuit, is generally the most garunteed way of making sure that a volt free input contact will be sent to IT personnel that require the alert.

The CREMS range from Over IP Group offers great flexibility for environmental monitoring over the network. The INS and UT range of Computer Room Enviornmenal Monitoring Systems provide termperature, humidity, door contact, smoke, dry contact, WUF (Water Under Floor), vibration & relay outputs to turn on sirens and strobes. The features that are embeded into each range  has the ability to for total programmable user defined notification and thresholds making it ideal to capture and inform IT personnel of what is happening in their remote sites, wiring closets, computer rooms & even data centres.

Multiple reporting through SNMP, Email, Direct or indirect SMS with logging all events either on board the CREMS, via syslog or exportable to such formats like CSV. Please see below the various units we currently have on offer:
